Five methods for Google site modification
1) HTML Verification Method:
In this method we need to upload a HTML file to the root directory of your website. But the flaw is we need to access the website to upload the file either along with the FTP or CP and file manager.
2) HTML Tag Verification Method:
In this method we need to add a meta tag to your site <head> section by copying the meta tag from the HTML tag verification option and paste it to the <head> section of the website.
3) Google Analytics Verification Method:
In this method we need to track the code from the Google Analytics and paste it to our <head> section of our page.
4) Google Tag Manager Verification Method:
In this we don't need the access to the webpage. We can verify your site with just a single click as long as we have the Google tag manager container snippet active on our site.
5) DNS TXT Record Verification Method:
In this method you need to add a TXT record at your DNS provider instead of needing to any code to your provider. This is the best method from a pure performance perspective.
